Getting Off To a Fast Start

Obviously, you want to make the most of this opportunity to relocate!
And it's our job to support that goal, offering all appropriate options-helping prepare!

And while it's never too soon to start the preparations, your timing is the critical issue:

If you need to make your move immediately ... that's one thing.  If you have the time more leisurely prepare, that's another.  Many of our clients, with proper preparation, make good, informed selections in just 2 or 3 days.  We just need to plan!
Please know that with the practice of buyer brokerage, clients' interests come first!  And clients are always in control of the process, including their choice of representation.  But we would like to perform "up front"...before you come to town, as if you were going to be our client and to give full service with that assumption.  It's important that you get it.  But we still expect no obligation to us, nor consent to represent you until we've had a chance to visit. All we ask is that when you actually come to town, we visit early.  That keeps the agency relationship intact, avoids conflicts about who showed what to whom, and enables us to give maximum service.  If you're not comfortable then, or at any time thereafter, you can walk away, with our good will.

So our suggestions:

  1. Please return the  "Profile Form" as soon as possible, so that we know what you need and want.  Please know the information is kept absolutely confidential, and that there are no obligations in any way to our services!

  2. We'll have phone consultations with you after we get the profile back, starting to focus on your needs.  While we work as a team, one counselor will be primarily responsible for service even before your visit.  So we'll get acquainted early!

  3. At that time, we'll make general plans and start to research the market ... offer mailings of appropriate listings or publications, periodic updatings, information on special interests, etc.  Anything to help you visualize the market, address concerns!

  4. It would be helpful to "prequalify", even on the phone, with a lender or two.  Again, everything is held confidential.  Prequaliflcation usually enhances negotiating power.

  5. As the time for your visit approaches, we'll focus on actual candidates for your new home.  We like to preview as many as we can before your visit, and we'll use videos and pictures to help acquaint you with them, and with this "new home town"!  And if we need to look to temporary rentals, we'll help with that, too!

  6. So, when you do get to town, we're off and running!
